Es 9:3-5
Esther 9:3-5
KJV 3 And all the rulers of the provinces, and the lieutenants, and the deputies, and officers of the king, helped the Jews; because the fear of Mordecai fell upon them. 4 For Mordecai was great in the king's house, and his fame went out throughout all the provinces: for this man Mordecai waxed greater and greater. 5 Thus the Jews smote all their enemies with the stroke of the sword, and slaughter, and destruction, and did what they would unto those that hated them.
Esther 9:3-5
3 And everyone (including the heads over the governors, the vassal kings, and the royal scribes) treated the Judeans with respect, because they were afraid of MordecAi, 4 since the king had ordered his name 5 to be proclaimed throughout the kingdom.
These are my thoughts, please share yours.
3 They treated them with respect because of Mordecai. We should to have a good influence. Yes we will be hated by many because we have Jesus but should see that we truly have Jesus. Often times us not living like Christ leaves a longer impression then living like Him. People often remember the bad more then the good, so we should make an effort to be used by God as much as possible and it thru Him will make a difference.
4-5 Mordecai was honored by the king because of all that had happened and the Jews were saved but now they were all respected. Mordecai would be just happy with his people not dying but God chose to use the king to even more bless Mordecai. We cant receive any greater blessing then to blessed by our King.
