1 Sam 7:15-17

1 Samuel 7:15-17
KJV 15 And Samuel judged Israel all the days of his life. 16 And he went from year to year in circuit to Bethel, and Gilgal, and Mizpeh, and judged Israel in all those places. 17 And his return was to Ramah; for there was his house; and there he judged Israel; and there he built an altar unto the LORD.

Revised English Version
1 Samuel 7:15-17

15Samuel judged Israel all the days of his life. 16He went from year to year in circuit to Bethel and Gilgal and Mizpah, and he judged Israel in all those places. 17His return was to Ramah, for there was his house, and there he judged Israel; and he built there an altar to Yahweh.

These are my thoughts, please share yours.

15 Samuel would be the last judge of Israel after him Israel would be ruled by kings.

16 Samuel went around doing his job, he would have had both people come to him and him being sent to people.

17 He built a altar at his home this shows that he continual served and worshiped God, this will keep us serving Him when things gets hard, we first have to be willing to worship Him at home where no one sees.
