15 Minutes
You have 1,440 minutes in every day. How would your life be different if you spent just 15 of those minutes daily giving thanks? Just 15 minutes filling your mind with concrete examples of how fortunate you are? Most of us would discover even after a few days that the exercise was life changing! - anon -

Re: 15 Minutes
here's a thought:hold your breathe for a few minutes and see how soon you quit and gasp for air.The lesson of this;how dependent on God we are for our very life.

Pastor Rick, you are soooo right. Unfortunately, I've not been very diligent at taking time every morning to just spend with God, praising Him and reading His word. It's my goal to do so because I know I'm missing out on a huge blessing. Just gotta crawl outta that bed!!! I used to be very regular about it and it did make a difference in my day.

Re: 15 Minutes
I saw something today but don't remember where I saw it *sigh*...
The man first thanked God for the alarm clock, because he could hear it and he knew there were some who couldn't hear. That's how he started each day, just looking at things God allowed him to do that others couldn't.
It is awfully hard to be sad when we take time to acknowledge what God has done in all we are able to do

Re: 15 Minutes
Good Morning Pastor Rick.
This is just like I have said in several of my sermons, If you have to pay income taxes you should be happy, if you have to pay a light bill you should rejoice, if you have to pay a house note you should rejoice and be happy. The reason is if you have to pay income taxes be happy because you have an income, if you have to pay a light bill rejoice because you have lights, if you have to pay a house note you should rejoice and be happy because GOD has provided you with shelter and a home!!
You can go on and on with this but the point is we should rejoice and be happy no matter what our circumstances because GOD is providing for us and things could be worse.
MAY GOD BLESS ALL OF YOU!!!
