Job 1:8

Job 1:8
KJV 8 And the LORD said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil?

Job 1:8
American English Bible
8 Then Jehovah asked him: ‘Have you noticed and thought about My child Job? There’s no one else like him on the earth, because he’s blameless, true, God fearing, and he distances himself from anything that is bad.’

These are my thoughts, please share yours.
God is talking to satan. Satan accusing us but God thru Jesus displays us to shine His glory. God saw the good Job did because he was righteous he had saving faith because Christ would come and die for his sins, so God saw the good in him, the Lord being who he followed and loved, this did not mean Job was perfect because God saw where Job needed to grow even though satan may have not seen it. We don’t need to be like Job because he had sin but instead do our best to be like Jesus.
